This bike was first registered by Three Cross Motorcycles (Uk MV dealer) late March 2006 as their demo/showbike & our customer bought it March 2007.

We bought it from him & he declared having loved every minute his MV ownership,

----- but lack of use & a company car prompted this reluctant parting of ownership.

Ronnie's Comments:- awesome machine, excellent balance with far better power than the previous 750cc F4 - quite a tall bike but a very comfortable machine

for a sports bike - braking & accelaration only outdone by the exhaust note - build quality seems to be better than previously experienced - Great Bike & a real piece of history --- scarcer than any 'Jap' bike so a real chance be different - in the most striking colour combo!

Running these up at higher speeds certainly shows the difference between these & std production bikes in terms of feel & handling.

Judging by the exras fitted & condition I think any prospective purchaser will agree this bike is better value than any comparable F4 currently for sale !

I purchased this Gixer Superbike as a consequense of all of the Press Hype - needless to say having now used it I have found to date no exaggeration in any of the claims made in the Media.

The handling, balance & comfort on the bike is really nice with a nice smooth power delivery & massive stopping power.

Unlike some of the other Superbikes I found this not to be too tall & therefore stopping with both feet on the ground easier than for instance the Benelli TRE or RSVR.

The bike has gone thro' a very careful running in period -

Subject to weather (not a rain person) I will have had a chance to try it out with more than 6000rpm (92mph) before it sells.

I haven't yet tried anything other than the 'A' mode of power selection as it has been nice dry roads with no heavy traffic !

I found this 'Super Sports mode to be very comfortable & not as highly strung as expected.

Now 1,600miles & still no dissapointment any any respect !

PEUGEOT SPEEDFIGHT '2' WRC 50cc

Very unusual for us to have anything of this nature, but I am told these are one of the best & most desirable Scooters on the market in view of their 'Peugeot 206 Rally Team (2002) ' Association & subsequent high spec & unique livery!

This was purchased as additional holiday transport by a mature couple

It has spent its life inside a very large motorhome.

I have ridden it myself & found it to be a lot livelier than other small scooters we have previously experienced here (55mph) !

Ronnie's comments:- This is a lovely machine in obligatory green/white/black, particularly suited to the first time 'big bike' buyer or everyday commuter with a budget of under £4k looking for a reliable fun machine, which will repay its new owner in terms of useability & residual value.Very Smooth power flow with "plenty of go", without the overtly sports bike crouch or the 'on the edge' handling - makes great sense -just ask anyone who has owned one of these Ninja models regardless of engine size - just about every biker I know has had one !

The bike is fitted with a Datatool alarm and immobiliser system as required by some insurance companies.

This bike has not been tampered with & specification is :-

998cc Magnesium 60 degree longitudinal four stroke V twin. It has a 6 speed transmission with the Aprilia patented PPC clutch. Brakes are Brembo and have metal braided lines as standard. It sports Sachs shock and Showa forks, both fully adjustable.

It comes with the rear cowl and the alternative pillion seat.

This model comes with the polished aluminium frame & IS THE NEW 2004 RR Vin MODEL (04 not a late reg 2003).

"Indications are that Aprilia have really done the business with this bike. Taking sales from the Ducati 999 with a far better price/performance ratio (allegedly 5 times the 999 sales figures) and now with it's new compact form taking sales from the big Jap four (better sales than the 1000 Faser), making it the most "useable" superbike on the road, whilst losing none of it's legendary track history"

Ronnie's comments:- very pretty, my personal favourite area being the rear light/seat which is a superb piece of Italian styling. Having pipes either side at the rear makes for excellent visual symetry & they also sound great. It has a suprisingly good turning circle for a Superbike & With Italian styling mixed with Honda style reliability this bike ticks all of the right boxes.

Clutch feels light with a positive gearchange & ample brakes .

Power is ample & handling seems profficient. Lots of bits to polish & will suit the buyer who might have bought a 'Duke' but felt they are a bit basic in the frame department for the money!

Ronnie's comments:- What can I add to what has already been said about these legendary Japanese two wheeled missiles: - it is quite low (fine for the shorter legged rider) & it does also work for the pillion passenger in terms of a proper seat at sensible seating height. Power is very smooth & does not feel too sporty due to the nice & comfy semi sports bar configuration, until you wind on the horses ---then, Hold on--- QQQQQQQQuick !!!!

Ideal for the intrepid tourer who wants a bit more than 'Pan' performance at weekends.

Ronnie's comments:- If you want unbreakable Honda reliability from this very much improved version of the old SP1 then you will not be disappointed - cracking performance twin & possibly the easiest superbike to live with I have ridden to date - very cool in Castrol Colours & different enough to turn heads at sensible money!

New Metzeler Tyres Fitted (label still attached) - Pair had been newly fitted, but rear had a puncture within 100miles - tyre still as new & now repaired (can go with bike as a spare )

SP1 MODEL HISTORY 2000: VTR1000 Honda - nice bike but still with a few flaws - biggest being the fuelling stutter - sorted in SP2 version

SP2 MODEL LAUNCH 2002: VTR1000 Honda with new swingarm, fuelling system, ECU map, longer wheelbase, subframe, 6kg weight reduction and Castrol Honda team colours option amongst the key changes. Top end work squeezes another 4bhp from the motor.

Ronnie's comment:- I am not usually a Kawasaki fan but this bike has changed my view & I like it.

It has a tremendously smooth power band delivery throughout the awesome accelaration range from standstill to loss of nerve - this must surely satisfy even the most demanding rider wishing a pillion friendly sports bike combined with tourer comfort .

The handling is not as cumbersome as the Hayabusa & with 130mph showing effortlessly at just over 6500rpm (red line begins at 11000 rpm) I was really impressed. The brakes are very effective & my only fear was being blown off the back due to the semi upright position !

Nice useful displays with digital time, petrol gauge, gear selected & temp combined with seperate crono speedo & rev counter dials make this as comprehensive as you would need.

Not overly talllike some modern machines - I am 5' 10" & I could easily get both feet on the ground whilst astride this beast.

The lighting on the front makes this bike look like something Terminator would ride --- great value & hard to beat!
