Quite simply the Airflow Conditioner puts an end to the kind of battery problems classic enthusiasts and owners of temperamental car and bike exotica will be only too familiar with.

It will charge a battery from a minimum of 9 volts to 13.8 volts and then turn off. It will then monitor battery voltage until it drops to 12 volts, through natural drain, and then turn on again to re-charge and exercise the battery to 13.8 volts. This not only prolongs the life of your battery, but ensures the battery is ready for action when you are.

Supplied with a crocodile clip harness for direct connection, and a fused wiring harness for secure connection to hidden batteries, ideal for cars & motorcycles.

GATES STT 1 Sonic Cambelt tension setting tool

To accurately set the tension on many modern cars or motorcycles eg Ducati, Renault etc requires the ability to check the frequency emitted from the cambelt when plucked (like a guitar string).

Any other method of setting (guesswork) is liable to shorten the life of the belt, vary the valve timing & worse case scenario snap or de-rail the belt causing ££££££££££ of damage!

The tool for this job is made by Gates & is the STT1 - @ around £450 it is quite expensive for the average mechanic to invest in one for those infrequent tasks - we have a tool here & subject to secure conditions can hire it out to you to use in the comfort of your own workshop

As an Aid during maintenance

In this pic you will see that by using a bike grab to hold the bike steady I have carefully used a small trolley jack to remove the front wheel on this MV - obviously by slotting the front wheel into a bike grab it would be just a simple to work on the rear of a bike - keeping the machine nice & stable click here

In Showroom

we use these in our showrooms bolted to the floor for total security & totally 'customer proof'- rear or front tyre slots over small ramp into calibrated adjustable wedge (No wheel or tyre damage).

To remove from the 'Grab' simply push or ride bike directly forward out of the unit with no fuss.

Bike Trailer Mounting

this is our flat bed trailer with a bike grab fitted using the 'quick release plate'which allows removal of the 'grab' for other non bike trailer uses!

this is same trailer with a Honda SP 2 mounted securely - for parking you could also chain the bike wheel to the Bike Grab (so with piece of mind you can pop in for a coffee at the cafe )!

Car Trailer Mounting

this is my car trailer with 'Bike Grab' quick mount plates (2) fitted, these do not interfere when even the lowest of cars are loaded (inc F40, Diablo & Mantis).

by placing the Bike Grab in the mounting & tightening a single 17mm nut the car trailer becomes a bike trailer (we have ours kitted for two side by side bikes).

Simply using ratchet straps to pull the bike into the grab & a couple holding the bike down (as seen in bike trailer pic above) the entire assembly is very secure & more importantly very stable!
