Just in case there is any doubt as to definitions of some terms we use in the 'trade' please read the following before contacting us:-

* Definition of 'Trade Buyer' - we buy from Trade and private sources (inc. companies) for realistic trade values irrespective of what, Glass Guide, Parkers Guide, RAC , Auto Trader or somebody's best friend define as a guide value (they definitely do not buy anything & may not have even seen your vehicle - we are buyer's & will value relative to the prevailing market, a true 'straight' purchase value is accessed on age, model, condition , mileage & specification relative to the definitive 'trade' book value with any required reparation or other expense incurred before resale point deducted.

Definition of 'Retail Sale' value, where the vehicle has been prepared ready for sale to a member of the public, with regard to compliance of the 'road traffic act' & the 'sale of goods act, this final figure will also include the potential VAT & Tax (based upon any profit margin remaining after expenses) & may include a px allowance .

Definition of 'Clear Title, a requirement in law that allows transfer of ownership - possibly the biggest source of Fraud private individuals find themselves facing after 'buying a bargain' (the 'bargain steal' is often stolen & is invariably removed without compensation).In order to obtain 'clear title' it is incumbent a Motor Trader to show due diligence when checking provenance & to settle any outstanding finance house debt (bank loans are usually personal loans & do not restrict the sale of the vehicle), this does not affect the overall price paid by us but does alter the disbursement of payment into two individual sums (a) finance house (b) the seller.
